Dom Ford

PhD Fellow, Center for Computer Games Research.


Dom started his PhD at the Center for Computer Games Research in August 2019. He received a BA and MA in English from the University of Exeter before moving to Copenhagen to join the MSc Games programme in August 2017. In 2018 and 2019, Dom worked as a teaching assistant for the Games programme as well. His PhD project seeks to use myth as a framework for thinking about how digital games produce meaning, and how that meaning is interpreted by the player.
